Drunken Sailor

Bree has been walking around the house singing "Drunken Sailor". I figured for morale, I should learn a different song on the guitar to get her hooked on... so "On Top of Spaghetti" it is. I figured when she broke out her dance moves, this was a hit. And it's definitely her new favorite. When she starts singing about her lost meatball, you'll know what she's talking about. ;)

Wicker basket rocking chair

I love this video clip of BreeAnna. While I was folding laundry, I heard BreeAnna say, "Mommy, take a picture." I turned around and this is what I saw:

Since we're on the theme of guitar, here's a couple of fun videos of BreeAnna dancing and Taylor's siblings playing guitar and singing.

I'm a head case...I mean I'm in a case.

We sure have a lot of catching up to do. I've been terribly busy with school and have taken up guitar and piano as well. And my children and husband definitely come before blogging... so needless to say, I'm behind. These are some of my favorite pictures of the kids. Both of the kids had fun in grandpa Ray Monroe's guitar case and both of them love listening and trying to play the guitar. I leave my guitar on a stand at home. BreeAnna tested the waters with mommy to see if I'd allow her to play with the guitar. To her surprise, I let her. Ever since, she'll stand by it and pick notes a few times a day. She also accompanies it with creative lyrics. She even sang the whole ABC song all the while picking the guitar strings. I didn't even know she knew the whole song, even though she knows her letters and letter sounds. We don't sing the song to her that often. She's a smart cookie, that one.
