Whirlind

We had a hellacious time getting family pictures. (Trying to get wiggly, wild wee ones to hold still for a picture is tortuous.) But, we got a few successful shots out of the 100 or so photos we took. We haven't gotten family pictures since two Octobers ago when BreeAnna was blessed. Thank yous go to Neil, Becca and Tyann's family for helping us get them done.

This weekend was eventful. It was "Uncle Neil's" (my brother-in-law) eagle court of honor, family pictures, my aunt and uncle's surprise 25th anniversary party, and our wee Carson's baby blessing. What a whirlwind of a weekend!

Neil's such a good guy. I loved Brother Omori's comments about Neil's character. Neil is definitely an incredible young man. He's multi-talented (has a gift of making people laugh and is excellent in creating music, etc.) He also perseveres despite health related problems and despite the business of his life to accomplish his goals. If you know Neil, you can feel his testimony of the gospel and of his duty to God. Congratulations on your award.

Is this the same boy?!

Here are those retries of baby Carson in the Save Carson clothing. :) He doesn't even look like the same baby! It's October 14th, only a couple of weeks from the last picture we've taken of Carson. I think someone switched babies on us.
"No, really?! They killed off Carson?"

"Oh."

"How Sad."

"But they're bringing him back?! Yes!!!"

Lost Camera

I tell ya, we've gone berserk trying to find our camera over the past 2 weeks. Carson has changed soooo much! I just found it! What a day. Last night I got food poisoning and woke up in the middle of the night with the symptoms. I'm still trying to heal, but blessings have blown in today. First, my friend, Carol Kingston, whom I haven't seen in 10 months, stopped in this morning to visit. :) Then, my sweet mother-in-law came to my rescue. She took Bree home with her so that I could get some rest. I can't tell you how grateful I am for her kind deeds. I didn't know how I was going to make it through the day. Then, our little Carson gave me his first unmistakable smiles. To top it off, I found our camera after some retracing and silent prayers.

So, here the updates unfold:

September 9th, 2008
Pals already!

Bug in a Rug (Sept. 11th)

A visit from the grandparents (Sept. 11th)

Why don't they make beanies to fit babies? (Sept. 12th)

Sept. 15th, 2008 What beautiful kids! More brother/sister time

The Bean Museum at BYU (Sept. 15th) Pictures of BreeAnna with Daddy and uncle Neil Monroe

BreeAnna loves the movie, Cars! Her and mommy even made their own Mater and Lightning McQueen with playdough. Bree loves to create.

Sept. 19th Chillin' with daddy. I can already tell that Carson's going to be a "suck up".

Sept. 21st, 2008. This is a pretty awesome story: Taylor joined a Stargate SG1 and Atlantis forum. Our favorite character from the Stargate Atlantis series was booted off. They killed him off!!! Needless to say, he was other peoples' favorite character as well. Many people complained on this forum, Taylor included. There was a campaign to get the actor put back on the show. Taylor had mentioned on the forum that we were going to have a son and that we were naming him Carson. (This wasn't the reason why we named our baby Carson, though. We're weird, but not that weird. ;) The lady who was in charge of this campaign sent us a couple of onesies, a bib, and a shirt for Bree. This picture was our first attempt to get a good picture of our Carson in the clothing. :) We need to try again. Even better, the actor himself, mailed us a picture of himself with an autograph. :) It says, "To Wee Carson. Welcome my friend! Lots of Love, Paul McGillion". What a neat man!

Sept. 27th, 2008 More brother/sister time. He changes almost everyday!!!

Sept. 28th, 2008 Happy Birthday Uncle Neil!!! This was a family birthday party for Neil. (His b-day is exactly a month after Carson's, Sept. 26th)
